Terms of Service
Last updated 28/06/2026
These terms are a contract between you and KeepUp Ltd, London (“KeepUp”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of keepup-app.com and the KeepUp app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be entitled to manage the properties and documents you add.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; no attempts to breach security or access other users’ data; and no automated abuse of the AI, email, or capture features. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
You keep ownership of the property data, documents, and photos you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you and those you invite (including sending it to our processors — see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for having the right to upload what you add.
AI-generated content
Maintenance schedules, extracted facts, compliance dates, and alerts are generated automatically and provided as guidance only. They are not professional, legal, or safety advice, and may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for verifying anything that matters — especially safety- and compliance-related items such as gas, electrical, and energy certificates.
Plans, quotas & fair use
The free plan is offered subject to usage limits (for example, AI analyses and forwarded emails per period) shown in the app. Paid plans raise or remove those limits. We may apply reasonable measures to prevent abuse that threatens the service.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly unless stated) and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout in the stated currency, plus any applicable taxes. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice, effective at your next renewal.
Third-party services
The service relies on third parties (e.g. Google Cloud, Stripe, Mailgun, Cloudflare). Their availability and terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Availability & warranties
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we give no warranties except those that cannot be excluded by law.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profit, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period or £100.
Suspension & termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service or other users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Questions: [email protected].
